On September 24, 2008, the steering committee of the proposed "Reformed Christian School Society of Alberta" held a general meeting at which they presented the proposed constitution and by-laws.
It is with humility, excitement and faith in our God that we can report that the proposed constitution and by-laws received very strong support. There were over 50 people in attendance, including representation from the Canadian Reformed Church and the Free Reformed Church. The "Reformed Christian School Society of Alberta (RCSSA)" will now be officially formed as a Society and formally pursue the vision of advancing reformed education in Calgary. In a number of weeks we will be calling our first Society meeting in order to elect a Board of Directors. This initiative is only possible with your continued support. The RCSSA will be canvassing for memberships in the next weeks.
